Working on week 2

It’s the middle of the week, and I’m working on week 2 of the couch25k training program that is going to take me from the couch to running (jogging/finishing) a 5 k this year!!!!

I did my training today and felt good “almost” the whole time. 🙂 I ended up walking 2.5 miles. Found a picture that reminded me of myself! I couldn’t resist! 🙂

  1. I LOVE that picture – reminds me of me, too! Good luck with the Couch to 5K program. I’ve done it a couple times – it’s wonderful!

    • Thanks, Stacie! It’s good to hear from someone who has done the program and believes in it! It’s sort of hard to think that I could actually be jogging an entire 3.1 miles in 9 or so weeks since right now I’m doing GOOD to jog for 1 1/2 minutes! 🙂

  2. It is a little hard to believe, but I remember getting to jogging for 10 minutes at a stretch and thinking, OK, I can do this. And then I trained for a ten mile race, and couldn’t believe that either, but it’s the same principle as the 5K!
